The Newi Awards
On Friday October 4 2013, The Lunaticks Society of Newcastle will host its 3rd Annual NEWi Awards Ceremony to announce the winners. The NEWi Awards for Digital Excellence over the years has developed into a renowned program celebrating the very best digital talent in Australasia.
This year’s awards has expanded to 13 categories: Best Website; Best Game Design; Best Online Publication; Best Online Content; Best Mobile Application; Best Social Media Campaign; Best Tech Start-up; Best Social Media Communicator; Best Community Digital Solution; Best Cloud Service or Product; Best Tourism Solution; Best New Media Artwork and The Joe Award.
Roughly 300 members vote for the NEWi Awards using secret ballots. Members select winners from as many as six nominees in each category, which are determined by a panel of industry experts.
